Future Bar Exam Dates
Most bar exams are administered twice yearly: on the last Tuesday and Wednesday in February, and again on the last Tuesday and Wednesday in July. This means, in 2018, examinees will have more days to review in February than most Februarys since the last two days of the month are Tuesday and Wednesday. However, examinees will basically have a week less to review in July 2018 since the last day of that month is Monday, which means the last Tuesday and Wednesday is July 24 and 25. When you compare that to the July 2019 administration, when most bar exams will be held July 30 and 31, that’s an additional week of studying.
Of course, since bar preparation really begins the first day of law school, the actually loss or gain of an additional review week after graduation should be irrelevant.
Here are the bar exam test days for most jurisdictions for the next several administrations. Make sure you check with the state’s board of law examiners to determine application deadlines and eligibility rules.
